Elephant Racing Releases New Eccentric Rubber Bushings

Press Release

Santa Clara, CA (September 18, 2014) – Elephant Racing has announced availability of new Eccentric Rubber Bushings for the rear toe links of Porsche 996/997/Boxster/Cayman cars.

According to the company, when the ride height of these vehicles is lowered it becomes impossible to properly set the rear alignment using the stock components. These new eccentric bushings shift the range of the rear toe adjuster to allow the alignment to be set properly.

Elephant Racing Founder Chuck Moreland says “Lowering the car is a popular modification, but this accelerates tire wear if the alignment is not corrected. These bushings solve the problem by allowing proper alignment.”

Until now the only solution to the problem was expensive length-adjustable toe links with spherical bearings. Many drivers steer away from installing spherical bearings on their street cars due to change in noise and ride quality.

Elephant Racing Eccentric Bushings provide the same noise and vibration canceling benefits as the stock rubber for less than half the cost of adjustable-length toe links.

The bushings have a 6mm offset that effectively shortens the toe link. They can also be installed in reverse, lengthening the toe link for cars that wish to use a lot of negative camber.

Elephant Racing Eccentric Rubber Bushings for Toe Links are available for immediate worldwide purchase and are prices at two hundred dollars for a set of two. For more information visit product page. For more info call 1-408-297-2789.
