Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Our Engineering team requires a flexible, multitalented engineer proficient with SolidWorks, 3D printing, machine tools (mill, lathe), and mechatronics, with hand on prototyping skills

Our design team develops a full range of suspension component s: shock absorbers, bushings, sway bars, active /semi-active suspension members. This engineering position will participate in all phases of technology development, starting with product ideation, CAD design, prototyping, documentation, operations training, and maintenance revisions.

Responsibilities include development of product documentation (BOM, manufacturing notes, engineering docs) and product instructions . The ability to interact with vendors, customers and provide technical product support requires an engineer with a “customer service” attitude.

Be ready to champion new ideas and be challenged to design the best possible automotive suspension systems. This position demands an AUTOMOTIVE ENTHUSIAST with personal track racing, autocross, or suspension work.

Fabrication and Assembly Specialist

Responsible for assembling, light manual machining, fabrication and light welding of our suspension products. The successful candidate will have basic to better skill level with a variety of general shop tools including manual mill, lathe, shop press, media blasting and light welding Must be mechanically inclined and be flexible to work on a variety of different tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • 3 or more years in a small scale manufacturing company
  • Product assembly
  • Manual milling and manual lathe

Suspension Technician

Bring your Porsche skills and specialize in suspension installation and setup

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install Elephant Racing suspension products and sub-assemblies on customer cars.
  • Suspension set up includes vehicle alignment, corner balance and setup.

Minimum Skills Required:

  • 3 or more years related work experience
  • Trade or Vocational school
  • Skilled with hand tools and shop equipment
  • Highly mechanically incline
  • Porsche / BMW experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods

Desirable But Not Required:

  • MIG Welding
  • Manual lathe and mill operation
  • Race setup experience
  • Experience participating in motor sports

Sales Representative

Our Sales Team provides first-level support for incoming product inquiries, identify customer’s suspension set up requirements and identify products required for the customer’s specific needs. Our customers range from daily driver set-up to full race set-up. This opportunity requires a candidate that has the aptitude and skills to understand suspension geometry under various driving conditions.

Our goal is to provide our customers with a complete component selection, technical support and future product sales. Our Sales opportunity is a salary plus commission compensation structure, with incentive to build long term relationships with our worldwide retail customers from individuals to custom Porsche shops.

Responsibilities:

  • Telephone and online technical-sales support
  • Generate customer quotes
  • Follow up and close customer quotes
  • Promote and set up customer accounts.
  • Provide all sales, invoicing and shipping documentation.
  • Manage customer database.

Shock Absorber Technician

Build and re valve shocks for Porsche cars. Technician skillfully disassembles the shock, replaces shim stack and seals. Shock is filled with fresh oil, properly sealed and charged. Each shock is dyno tested to ensure proper valving and pair consistency. Tech will also fabricate/ refurbish coil-overs and struts.
Duties other shop duties, including light fabrication and modification of other suspension components. Manual shop equipment and tools used.

Required Skills:

  • 2 + years in a similar skill set
  • Mechanically inclined and skilled with hand tools
  • Basic manual skills including lathe and mill
  • Ability to follow established practices and procedures
