Coilover sleeve conversions
Convert regular
shocks and struts to full coilover
Coilover sleeve -
conversion kits provide a cost-effect way to convert to a full
coilover setup while retaining your existing non-threaded Bilstein
struts and rear shocks. Our kits are complete and fully
developed.

Front coilover sleeve conversion kit -
A no-weld kit to convert regular non-threaded Bilstein
struts to full adjustable height coilover setup. Struts and
inserts are not included.
Sleeve Conversion kit contains all these items:
Upper Perch - Extended to move spring below
chassis, thus allowing max camber adjustment range. Choose
perch for regular camber plates or
QuickChange Camber Plate fitment.
Seat Bearing Kit
-
Prevents spring wind-up allowing
ease-of-steering.
Strut inserts -
Are not included. You may wish to
purchase Von
Shocks valved to match your chosen springs.
Strut Wiper -
Shortens strut 3/4 inch for added travel, much
needed on lowered cars.
Lower Perch -
Easy height adjustment and corner balancing.
Threaded Sleeve -
Provides height adjustability.
Sleeve Base -
Slips on and positions threaded sleeve, no
welding required.
Tools and Instructions -
kit includes a tool to ease wiper seal removal
and full installation instructions.

Main Spring

The finest springs available, Hypercoil.
Choose from a broad selection of rates, here are a few popular
choices:
200 lb - Street performance, canyon carver
300 lb - Autocross, Drivers Education
400 lb - Race
Helper Spring / Dividers -
Prevents Main Spring from coming off perches
at full suspension droop. Fully compressed in normal
operation. Required for all but the softest springs. Divider
ensures Main Spring and Helper Spring remain
properly seated

Rear coilover sleeve conversion kit -
A no-weld kit to convert regular 50mm body, 14mm rod non-threaded Bilstein
or Von Street shocks to full adjustable height coilover setup.
Shocks are not included in kit.

purchase Von
Shocks valved to match your chosen springs.
Lower Perch -
Easy height adjustment and corner balancing.
Threaded Sleeve -

Snap Ring -
Snap ring supports the threaded sleeve.
Regular Bilstein shocks will require a snap ring groove to be
machined into the body. Optionally send your shocks to
Elephant Racing for this operation. Von street shocks are pre-equipped
with a snap ring and groove.
