911s built prior to '87 had weak rear sway bar mounts, a well know problem area. Hard driving will tear the mounts away from the body in time. Even the '87 and later mounts can tear with hard use.
Stiffer sway bars accelerate the problem.

Installation requires cutting off the original mounts and welding in the new mounts.
