Shock Absorber Technician

Summary:

Build and test shock absorbers.

You need to have demonstrated proficiency with hand tools and strong mechanical aptitude.   Previous experience with shock absorbers is desirable but not required.

You will build shock absorbers and valving stacks to meet defined performance objectives.  You will operate a computer shock dyno to test shock absorbers.   You will handle other duties as required.

Desirable experience includes prior shock building and testing, familiarity with shock designs and operation, experience with racecar tuning and specifically shock tuning to optimize performance.

You need to be a Porsche enthusiast. The personality that fits at Elephant Racing likely has autocross or track driving experience.    The person we seek presents and conducts themselves in a professional and mature fashion.

Full time position.

Located in our R&D facility in Santa Clara.

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with responsibilities.

Specific duties and responsibilities:

- Build shock absorbers

- Test shock absorbers

- Other duties as needed and as appropriate based on candidate skill set

 Minimum skills and requirements:

- Must be a Porsche enthusiast

- Highly mechanically inclined, demonstrable proficiency and experience working with a wide variety of tools

- Minimum High school graduate.  Vocational training or college a plus.

Desirable but not required:

-  Experience with performance suspension tuning and shock absorbers

- Prior experience building and testing shock absorbers

Web and Marketing Specialist

Summary:

Combine your passion for motorsports with your web and marketing skills.   We are seeking a creative and multi-talented individual to help execute marketing strategy.

You will be specifically responsible for web content and programming.    You will also develop creative and content layout for a variety of marketing communications including print advertising, video, photo, PR, and newsletters.

The successful candidate will be capable of working with a variety of software tools to create and layout images, video, and copy in multiple mediums.   You must be able to effectively communicate complex product ideas in readily-understandable forms.

Full time position.

Location will be our R&D facility in Santa Clara.

- Website authoring

- Magazine ad layout

- Press release authoring and dissemination

- Video editing

- Newsletter authoring and administration

- Product collateral authoring

- Other duties as needed and as appropriate based on candidate skill set

 Minimum skills and experience required:

- BS/BA

- 2 or more years experience in web development and marketing communications

- Dreamweaver Designer

- Java script programming

- Photoshop

- Illustrator

- Competent copy writing and editing

- Must be a Porsche enthusiast

Desirable but not required:

- Basic video editing

- Enthusiast level experience with project / track car builds, and setup

- Track driving / club racing / Autocross experience

- Ecommerce
